Do you want to learn to create stunning watermedia paintings but hesitate to take a class because you’ve never studied art? Do you want to have fun while learning how watermedia works? Are you ready to experiment with watermedia and artistic/creative design? This workshop will teach you composition skills, watermedia techniques, and creative design without anxiety. We’ll drop, drip, spray, throw, blow, flip, scrape, and tape to add pizzazz and spectacle to our fun watermedia. Using watercolor, acrylic, RIT dye, inks, melted wax crayons, liquid latex, collage, stencils, stamps, pastels, colored pencils, oil pastels, salt, and other common household products, we’ll create miracles. If you can wash dishes, you can paint with us! No prior experience in watercolor required.
All ability and experience levels welcome. Instructor will have household materials supplies for sale. Students will need to supply their own watercolors, paper, brushes, water containers, tissue, paper towels, pencils, masking tape.
