This is a class you won’t want to miss. It is three days of study showing you how to bet- ter design your paintings, by understanding the elements of values shapes, more exciting color, and the rhythms and balance of shapes. Knowing how to use these elements to create paintings is essential to well designed paint- ings. After all you are creating paintings and not just copying what is just in front of you.
You will also learn to get more exciting results from your watercolor paint through exercises that teach you the correct paint to water ratio for the subject you want to paint. You will learn di erent brush tech- niques that will allow the watercolor paint to be more ex- pressive and fresh on your paper. Martha will show you how to approach your watercolor paintings with more con - dence, simplifying your subject in order to make a stronger statement. Finally you will learn how to plan your painting prior to putting paint on the pa- per, thus helping you to make fewer bad choices that result in you having to gure out how to save the painting. So give your work the boost that it needs this summer and join this class. Click here to register for this class! |
